Recycling and Waste Management

At AgroWool, we not only utilize the resources nature offers us; we also consider it our responsibility to recycle them in the most efficient way.

The recycling and waste management policies implemented at our facilities minimize our environmental impact and enable us to implement circular economy principles in our production processes.

Sheep wool We consider it not just as a raw material, but as part of a sustainable life cycle. The fibers left over from the wool we process for the weaving and textile industry are considered not as "waste," but as the raw material for a new beginning. These waste streams are transformed through special processes into high-value-added products such as liquid amino acids, keratin, and lanolin for use in the agricultural, cosmetic, and industrial sectors.

Furthermore:

  • Separated waste collection systems are implemented throughout all production processes.
  • Chemical waste is managed in accordance with regulations by licensed disposal companies.
  • Resource efficiency is achieved by minimizing energy and water consumption.
  • The cycle is completed with a process design that minimizes waste generation.

In this way, AgroWool has become not only an environmentally compatible producer but also an active recycling agent, aware of its responsibility towards nature.

“For us, there is no waste, only a new form of recycling.”
