Lanolin is a yellowish, semi-solid, wax-like substance naturally found in sheep's skins that coats wool fibers. It is separated during the first washing of the wool after shearing. Lanolin, an animal-derived wax, is refined without chemical treatment and made suitable for use in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
